Dear Sir or Madam,
nongovernmental organization and publisher Open Society for Idea Exchange (ODRAZI) from Zagreb, Croatia, is established in 2005, with the aim to promote all human rights, especially human rights to education and free access to information. Our organization implemented volunteer web project of computer e-education with open access <http://itdesk.info/> ITdesk.info, and translated it, among other languages (Serbian, Slovenian), to English language too. We have also established cooperation with other institutions in Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia in the area of expert review, and materials on these languages are reviewed.
We would like to take this opportunity to propose a cooperation in the field of expert reviews of handbooks translated to English language. Our aim is to provide citizens from English speaking region with basic digital literacy handbooks that have passed expert review, free of any charge, just like we did for mentioned countries.
Handbooks on which you conducted expert review will have published the logo and name of your organization, as well as all materials derived from these handbooks, in the manner in which reviwer of original version is - Infokatedra, center for adult education, Zagreb (eg. link: <http://www.itdesk.info/slo/prirocnik/prirocnik_osnovni_pojmi_informacijske_tehnologije.pdf> www.itdesk.info/slo/prirocnik/prirocnik_osnovni_pojmi_informacijske_tehnologije.pdf ).
All ITdesk.info project materials are published under copyright law which allows further distribution and copying, and, in order to keep track of derivative works and for us to be able to send source materials, it is needed to seek permission for derivative works.
You can find more about the project at the link <http://www.itdesk.info/> www.ITdesk.info and please find attached education overview for all 7 modules, with direct links.
If you are interested in participating in our project, feel free to contact us.
We still have plans to translate materials into other languages, so that they are accessible to as many people as possible. If you would like to be involved with translating and spreading digital literacy, specially among all citizens in your respecive country, please let us know.
Thank you in advance for your answer, we are looking forward to all your inquiries and hope for fruitful cooperation.
Kind regards,
Sanja Kolaric, MA, MCP
Dario Ilija Rendulic, mag.ing.el.
